Certification isn't a sticker on the truck. It decides which shingles go on your roof and which warranties we're allowed to register in your name.
The Certification
What GAF Certified Plus means
GAF is North America's largest roofing manufacturer, and it doesn't let just anyone register its strongest warranties. Certified Plus status means our installation quality, insurance, and licensing are vetted by the manufacturer whose shingles we install.
For you, that boils down to two things: the roof is installed to the standard the warranty demands, and the paperwork behind that warranty actually gets registered. Plenty of roofers can buy the same shingles. Far fewer can back them the way we can. Certification sits alongside our North Carolina contractor license and insurance, and it applies to every GAF Timberline HDZ roof replacement we install.
The Shingle
GAF Timberline HDZ shingles with LayerLock technology
Our default shingle is the GAF Timberline HDZ, the most installed shingle in North America. Its LayerLock technology mechanically bonds the shingle layers, which is what earns it the wind coverage and nailing accuracy that older shingles can’t match.
Charcoal, Pewter Gray, Barkwood, Weathered Wood: pick your shingle color in the instant estimate, or hold the samples during your material consultation. Other colors and lines are available, but this is the roof we’d put on our own homes.

Every Skyline roof starts with real coverage, and certification lets us register the manufacturer's upgrade tiers on top of it.
Lifetime Limited Warranty
Every GAF Timberline HDZ roof we install carries a lifetime limited manufacturer warranty on the shingles, plus our own 50-year workmanship warranty on the installation itself.
System Plus Upgrade
A manufacturer-backed upgrade that extends coverage across the full roofing system, not just the shingles. Only GAF-certified contractors can register it.
Silver Pledge Upgrade
The step above System Plus, adding manufacturer-backed workmanship coverage. As a GAF Certified Plus contractor, we can register warranties most local roofers cannot.
